The cultural diversity of the Indian subcontinent is simply overwhelming and impressive. In the metropolis of Mumbai, life is bustling 24/7 and for me it remains a mystery how the everyday colorful chaos in road traffic can work at all. From the fashion designer's point of view, everything can be found in the enormous span from Vadodara in the north to subtropical Mysore in the south. With the huge selection of fabrics, scarfs and other textiles, it's just unfortunate that I can't take everything with me at once. Fortunately, international parcel service is available. And yes... sometimes it rains heavily!
